David Sokol, age 68, serves as Director and Chairman of the Board of Directors, appointed in November 2019. He also holds the positions of director and chairman at Poseidon Corp. Sokol founded three companies, took three public, and was Chairman and CEO of MidAmerican Energy Holdings Company prior to its sale to Berkshire Hathaway, Inc. He manages Teton Capital, LLC, a family holding company.
Bing Chen, age 58, is Director, President, Chief Executive Officer, and Interim Chief Financial Officer, appointed in November 2019. He also serves as director and CEO of Seaspan and Poseidon Corp. Chen has over 25 years of executive experience across Asia, Europe, and North America, with previous roles at BNP Paribas (China) Ltd., Trafigura Investment (China), Houlihan Lokey, Inc., and Deutsche Bank. He is an inactive Certified Public Accountant and holds degrees from Bernard Baruch College and Columbia Business School.
Lawrence Simkins, age 63, is a Director and chair of the audit committee, appointed in November 2019. He also serves as director of Poseidon Corp. and was director of Seaspan from 2017 to 2020. Simkins was President and CEO of The Washington Companies until 2022 and serves on the Board of Lowe’s Companies, Inc. He is a former director of the Federal Reserve Bank of Minneapolis and holds a B.S. in Business Administration (Accounting) from the University of Montana.
Torsten Holst Pedersen, age 54, is Chief Operating Officer. Kun Li, age 40, is Chief Commercial Officer. Stefan Hockley, age 53, is Chief Human Resources Officer. Peter Jackson, age 58, is Chief Technology Officer. Krista Yeung, age 44, is Vice President, Accounting. Peter Li, age 41, is General Counsel.
