Edward H. Codispoti, age 54, has been Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of APEI since October 2025. He previously held CFO positions at NV5 Global, Inc., Ilumno Holdings, Ltd., JetSmarter, Inc., and TradeStation 22 Group, Inc., and began his career at Arthur Andersen, LLP.
James Kenigsberg, age 49, has served as Interim Chief Innovation and Technology Officer of APEI since August 2025. He is a former director of APEI and was founding CTO of 2U, Inc. He also served as Senior Strategic Advisor at 2U, Inc., Vice President of Application Development at The Princeton Review, and held senior technology roles at Thomson Reuters and Ogilvy & Mather.
Thomas A. Beckett, age 58, has been Senior Vice President, General Counsel, and Secretary of APEI since 2016, joining the company in 2011. His previous experience includes General Counsel and COO of HealthSport, Inc. and InnoZen, Inc., associate positions at King & Spalding LLP and Holland & Knight LLP, and a banking officer role at First Union National Bank. He is also a board member of Shenandoah Telecommunications Company.
Tanya J. Axenson, age 50, has served as Senior Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer of APEI since July 2022. She previously held the roles of Senior Vice President of HR and Chief Diversity Officer at Erickson Senior Living, and Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer at Aerotek, Inc.
