Jonathan Klamkin, age 45, serves as Chief Executive Officer, President, and Chairman of Aeluma (formerly Biond Photonics) since February 28, 2019. He has been a Professor of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of California, Santa Barbara since 2015. He holds a B.S. from Cornell University and an M.S. and Ph.D. from the University of California, Santa Barbara.
Christopher Stewart, age 57, was appointed Chief Financial Officer in August 2025. He previously served as CFO of LeddarTech Holdings Inc. and Bionano Genomics, Inc., and held leadership positions at Maxwell Technologies, Entropic Communications, and Intel Corporation. He holds a B.S. from the University of Southern California and an MBA from Carnegie Mellon University.
Steven P. DenBaars, age 63, is a Director and Professor of Materials and Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of California, Santa Barbara since 1991. He co-founded Nitres Inc., SLD Laser, and contributed to the founding of Akoustis Technologies Inc. He joined the Board of Directors of SmartKem Ltd. in 2022. He holds a B.S. from the University of Arizona and an M.S. and Ph.D. from the University of Southern California.
Craig Ensley, age 74, is a Director and chairs the compensation committee. He has led global semiconductor businesses and served as CEO or President of three venture-backed companies. He is a Board Director of Mentium Technologies and serves on the Governing Council of the MEMS & Sensors Industry Group.
