Ermenegildo Zegna N V's Comment on Sales, Marketing and Customers

The Group's customer base includes individuals purchasing products while traveling, making international tourism and travel patterns significant factors in demand. Macroeconomic conditions, geopolitical developments, and inflation have impacted consumer behavior and product demand. The Group prioritizes the Direct to Customer (DTC) distribution channel as a key growth strategy, planning to increase Directly Operated Stores (DOS) from 390 in 2023 to 471 in 2025 across the brands ZEGNA, Thom Browne, and TOM FORD FASHION. This expansion is driven by the addition of TOM FORD FASHION stores following the TFI Acquisition in April 2023, new store openings, and the conversion of wholesale stores to DOSs, including Saks Fifth Avenue in New York, 16 stores in South Korea, and 9 Harry Rosen stores in Canada.
