In 2025, retail customers represented 92.6% of total electric operating revenues, wholesale customers 1.2%, and resale customers 5.3%. Wholesale electric service is provided to electric cooperatives, municipal joint action agencies, other investor-owned utilities, municipal utilities, and energy marketers. Most resale sales occur within the MISO Energy Markets. Additionally, WEC Energy Group operates a steam utility that supplies steam to customers in metropolitan Milwaukee for processing, space heating, domestic hot water, and humidification.
