The supplier has indicated the availability of 24 MW dual pinion mills, which has been incorporated into the updated capital cost estimate for the Project. The bulk copper-molybdenum cleaning circuit is currently sized for a rougher concentrate mass pull of 12.9%; however, recent testing shows lower mass pulls of 4-6%, indicating a potential to review and reduce cell sizes. The use of Jameson cells will be investigated as a lower-cost alternative to column flotation cells and to reconfigure the bulk copper-molybdenum circuit. Specific energy test work on rougher concentrates is recommended for the feasibility study phase, and alternatives to IsaMill technology, such as vertical stirred mills, will be assessed. An integrated water balance model that incorporates production plan variability should be developed. Infrastructure evaluations will include the reuse of earthworks material, assessment of the high-voltage transmission line route, geotechnical studies, and reduction of the process plant footprint. Environmental and permitting activities will continue to pursue approval of the Environmental Impact Assessment and exploitation permits for the Warintza Project.
