The company sources raw materials for its traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) products in accordance with the Hong Kong Chinese Medicine Regulatory Office guidelines. These materials are distributed through over 6,000 TCM stores, wholesalers, and other channels in Hong Kong. TCM practitioners select herb vendors who have passed rigorous inspections. The herbs sourced include blood circulation herbs (Taoren, Honghua, Ruxiang, Moyao), tonifying herbs (Huangqi, Dihuang, Shanzhuyu), qi-regulating and heat- and wind-removing herbs (Jingjie, Fangfeng, Xiangfu), detoxification herbs (Haizao, Pugongying, Huangqin), blood clot removing herbs (Sanqi, Danggui, Chuanxiong), and digestion herbs (Baizhu, Shanzha, Jineijin). The company plans to register its personalized Chinese medicine (pCm) formula products with the Hong Kong Chinese Medicines Board following the completion of a second efficacy trial. The initial research study on ADHD and ASD involved seven patients treated with personalized TCM formulas, with some patients discontinuing other medications prior to the study to reduce treatment interference.
