Motors Liquidation Co
Motors Liquidation Co, also known as Old GM, was a company formed as a result of the bankruptcy of General Motors (GM) in 2009. It was responsible for managing the assets and liabilities of the former GM, which included unprofitable brands, manufacturing plants, and pension obligations. Motors Liquidation Co aimed to liquidate these assets in order to repay the debts owed by the old GM to its creditors. The liquidation process involved selling off assets and settling legal disputes. Eventually, the majority of these assets were sold or dissolved, and the company ceased to exist in 2016.
