Our distinctive product offering includes a full range of separates, tops, dresses, active wear and accessories to satisfy her every day wardrobe needs for a variety of occasions. We design and develop the majority of our merchandise in-house, which is manufactured to our specifications. However we also source directly from third-party manufacturers. In fiscal 2017, we intend to start selling co-branded and third-party labeled product as well, however we expect the majority of our product to continue to have the bebe brand.
As of July 2, 2016, we marketed our products under the bebe and BEBE SPORT brand names through our 186 retail stores, of which 147 are bebe stores, including an on-line store at www.bebe.com, and 39 are bebe outlet stores. Our 82 international licensee' operated stores in 22 countries and, pursuant to our product licensing, through certain select domestic and international retailers.

The Company was incorporated in the State of Delaware on June 25, 2002. We operate in two separate business segments, cold weather clothing and a house wrap for the building construction industry. Both of our segment lines use products made from INSULTEX, which is a low density foamed polyethylene with buoyancy, scent block, and thermal resistant properties. We have a license agreement directly with the owner of the INSULTEX Technology. In December, 2015, we took delivery of equipment capable of producing INSULTEX. We intend to use the equipment to produce our own INSULTEX for use in our house wrap product as well as sale of INSULTEX to others. We will continue to operate under the license agreement for the manufacture of INSULTEX used in our cold weather clothing.

The Machine Clothing (MC) segment supplies permeable and impermeable belts used in the manufacture of paper, paperboard, tissue and towel pulp, nonwovens, fiber cement and several other industrial applications.

We design, manufacture, and market paper machine clothing for each section of the paper machine and for every grade of paper. We manufacture and sell approximately twice as much paper machine clothing worldwide than any other company. Paper machine clothing products are customized, consumable products of technologically sophisticated design that utilize polymeric materials in a complex structure. The design and material composition of paper machine clothing can have a considerable effect on the quality of paper products produced and the efficiency of the paper machines on which it is used. Principal products in the paper machine clothing segment include forming, pressing, and dryer fabrics, and process belts. A forming fabric assists in paper sheet formation and conveys the very wet sheet (more than 75% water) through the forming section. Press fabrics are designed to carry the sheet through the press section, where water is pressed from the sheet as it passes through the press nip. In the dryer section, dryer fabrics manage air movement and hold the sheet against heated cylinders to enhance drying. Process belts are used in the press section to increase dryness and enhance sheet properties, as well as in other sections of the machine to improve runnability and enhance sheet qualities.
